One of the best bicycle paths the city of Montreal has to offer is without a doubt the Lachine Canal Bike Path. Ride along this path and enjoy a warm sunny day cycling its entire length as scenic views of the Saint-Lawrence Seaway and Lac Saint-Louis enchant you. Lined with green spaces, historic buildings and downtown skyscrapers, cyclists can ride along this route from end to end starting from the Lachine Canal all the way to the Old Port of Montreal in about 1 hour.
This enchanted playground offers amazing views of nature as cyclists whirl through right in the center of Montreal. You can cycle through the famous car race track Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve on a well-maintained safe trail of about 14 kms along the entire area reserved only for cyclists. This bike path links together three beautiful scenic areas; Parc Jean-Drapeau, Île des Soeurs and nearby South Shore municipalities offering access to cross Saint Lawrence River.
